The Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) is a governmental organisation that promotes Maltese Islands tourism and advises on the planning and development of the tourism industry.
The Maltese Islands consist of the three main islands: Malta, Gozo and Comino. They are famous for wonderfully preserved temples, palaces and fortifications – witnesses of a rich history. Tastes of the cuisine are an evidence of the islands’ multicultural heritage too. Malta has the world’s biggest number of objects with historical and cultural value per 1 km². The compactness of the country causes that all the attractions are at your fingertips.
