During the official visit of President Andrzej Duda in Mexico, a partner agreement was signed between Mexico and the largest Trade Fair and Congress Centre in Poland, Ptak Warsaw Expo. Mexico was represented by the Minister of Tourism of United Mexican States Enrique Octavio de la Madrid Cordero; on the part of Ptak Warsaw Expo the agreement was signed by President Tomasz Szypuła. Official signature of the document was performed in the presence of the Presidents of both states.
Dzięki umowie Meksyk został oficjalnym państwem partnerskim Międzynarodowych Thanks to the agreement, Mexico became an official partner state of the International Tourism Fair World Travel Show, which will be held from 20 to 22 October 2017 in the International Trade Fair and Congress Centre Ptak Warsaw Expo, in Nadarzyn near Warsaw.
The success of the first, last year’s, edition of the fair resulted in Mexico, which has so far been a partner state of the most important tourism fair in the world, e.g. World Travel Market in London, taking a decision to become a partner of World Travel Show 2017.
Under the agreement, Mexico will erect a representative national stand, where it will promote its products and touristic services along with business partners. A partner state also prepares a range of diverse attractions such as artistic and culinary shows, Mariachi performances, tasting of local specialities of the national cuisine, workshops and many more.
During the visit in Mexico, the Presidential couple are accompanied by – for instance – the following ministers: Małgorzata Sadurska, Chief of the President’s Office, and Krzysztof Szczerski, Chief of the Cabinet of the President, as well as a group of Polish entrepreneurs.
One of priorities of the trip of the Presidential couple is promotion of Polish companies and industry and seeking new business partners for the Polish business. Andrzej Duda will participate in such events as ending of the Polish-Mexican Economic Forum and will inaugurate the activity of the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in Mexico.
During the visit of the Polish delegation, over a dozen bilateral agreements will be signed, e.g. agreement of economic cooperation, of mutual investment support, of mutual investment crediting, of cooperation between BGK and PAIH and their Mexican counterparts, including between the Ministry of Development and Finance and the Mexican Ministry of Economy, Polish Space Agency and Mexican Space Agency, Polish Investment and Trade Agency and the Mexican ProMexico Investment Promotion Agency.
